Conversion to a private limited company and delisting from the stock exchange in Iceland
Bakkavör Group has been converted to a private limited company and has delisted from NASDAQ OMX Iceland. At a shareholder meeting, held on 26 March 2010 in Reykjavik, the following was resolved:
"The Bakkavör Group hf. shareholder meeting, held on 26 March 2010, resolves to request the delisting of the Company from Nasdaq OMX Iceland. Given the authorization to delist the Company it shall be transformed into a private limited company in accordance with Article 132 of the Companies Act No. 2/1995. The articles of association of the private limited company which will be resolved at this meeting will then take effect. Until then the Company will operate on the basis of the current articles of association.”
The Icelandic stock exchange, NASDAQ OMX Iceland, gave notice on 31 March 2010 that the request of Bakkavör Group hf. to delist the shares had been approved. The shares were delisted on 16 April 2010.
