Brief History

Creative Food Group Limited was founded in 2000 in Beijing and expanded quickly to open plants in Guanqzho, Wuhan and Shanghai. In 2004 it opened its own agriculture operations under the "Creative Agriculture Label". Creative Food Group serves more than 1,800 restaurants & supermarkets everyday. Foodservice clients include KFC and Pizza Hut while retail clients include Tesco and Carrefour. It entered into partnership with Bakkavör in 2006 whereby Bakkavör acquired a 40% stake. In June 2007 the remaining 60% was acquired and today Bakkavör holds an 80% share in Creative Foods while Glitnir Bank holds 20%.
