Appointments to financial team

Bakkavör Group has made two appointments to its financial team which is based at the Group’s headquarters in Reykjavik.

Rafnar Larusson has been appointed Group Treasury Manager as of the 3rd of January. Rafnar has worked for Haga hf. since 2004. Prior to that Rafnar worked for Alcan á Íslandi hf. and Kaupthing Banki hf. Rafnar completed his masters degree in finance from Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management in 2002.

Johann Gunnar Johannsson has been appointed Group Financial Controller as of the 3rd of January. Johann has worked for Decode Genetics since 2002 and before that he worked for KPMG. Johann holds a business degree and became a state authorised public accountant in 2003.
